Just most Ogden real estate experts and observers predicting to happen in real estate Roy Utah market in March came into reality. Last month home sales were fewer compared to the same month the year earlier. But the drop was relatively small, according to the data taken from  WFR multiple listing service on Wednesday.

March last year sales were boosted by the federal tax credit that makes buyers on the rushed to purchased homes for sale in Roy Utah before the deadline. Now, of course, those credits are totally gone.

Total sales of new and existing single-family homes and Roy Utah condos last month were at 35, up 37.14 percent from just 22 homes sold the month before March, but down 27.08 from 48 homes sold in February. In the last nine months, March sales were the highest since May last year, the period when sales fueled by tax credits.

The median of Roy Utah houses sold last month was $146,750, down by nearly eight percent from $146,750 in the same month the year earlier, and up 6.90 percent over the lowest median on the record so far at $146,750 in February.
